Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 7 am–7 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file. More information is available on its website, openhouseorl.com.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 169 reviews, which is a strong result for a coffee shop in Orlando and suggests consistent service.
Orlando is in Florida, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Traffic in Orlando peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Coffee is decent and the kid snacks are very well priced! Beautiful space and spacious seating on the kid side. I can’t speak for the coffee shop seating side, but I at times enjoy the play area—my biggest qualm is that they allow bigger children in there even though the sign says up to 5yo’s, and it makes it difficult to maintain safety and space for younger kids to play. I have brought it up and the barista told me the rules are “loose.” Parents are not watching their children most of the time which is not necessarily the employee’s fault, but I feel there should be some expectations or regulations placed. All that to say, check the busy times for a better chance of having some free space for your little ones where they can feel safe and free to roam a little.

This coffee shop has such a welcoming atmosphere and definitely gives off a cozy 1950s vibe with its charming décor. I ordered the iced matcha latte with a strawberry cloud on top, while my husband got the black cold brew and an almond croissant. The matcha was delicious, and the strawberry cold foam was creamy, smooth, and paired really well with the drink. The space is divided into two areas: a playroom with toys, sofas, and tables where parents can relax while their kids play, and the main café area where you’ll find the register and seating. It appears to be connected to a church, which gives it a unique community feel. The staff was very sweet and welcoming. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a family-friendly café with a warm atmosphere.

As a mom, this is the perfect place to go to catch up with friends while having little ones. The coffees and food are great and the play area is very visible from the sitting area so you can see what’s going on. The play area is small but not too small. It should keep them occupied for 2 hours or so - enough time to catch up with a friend! We enjoy going and will be back.

My oatmilk latte was absolutely delicious. If Oh Hey Cafe was closer I would definitely swing by again. This is somewhere to go if you want a good quality coffee or cappuccino or latte, they have very few non traditional coffee mixers - but what they do serve is great! When we arrived the parking lot was full, but it wasn't because the cafe was filled with people, but apparently there's a sort of kid zone/social attached to the building. It would be nice if there were a few 5-15 min parking slots in the front for the cafe only. But, thankfully there's a little sign at the front with a QR code that tells you how to get to the parking lot behind the building. If you've already arrived, you'll have to make two u-turns and pull into the egress just before the cafe to reach the back lot. It's not convenient, but there's plenty of space back there!

Cute coffee shop with lots of seating and space for plugging in with lap tops and working. They also have a little play place for little ones, and seating for adults facing it. Great hang out for meeting!
